Friends Café is a welcoming restaurant in Nelspruit, perfectly positioned along the riverbank with rocky outcrops and indigenous bush as a backdrop. Just five minutes from the city and close to the old Nelspruit airport on the way to Kaapsehoop, our café offers a unique setting for relaxed dining in the Lowveld. Established in 2019 by Alan and Lesley Taylor, Friends Café has grown into a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike.
Guests can enjoy a variety of seating options – from the cosy indoor area showcasing African artefacts, to the covered veranda overlooking the river, or a table under the trees on our spacious lawns. With a menu designed to please every taste, we serve freshly prepared meals, wholesome options, tasty specials, and homemade cakes that keep guests coming back.
